UANL INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON NATURAL PRODUCTS

MONTERREY (MEXICO), SEPTEMBER 7-8, 2006


THIRD ANNOUNCEMENT


Celebrating the 54th  anniversary of its foundation, the Faculty of Biology of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (www.uanl.mx) cordially invites scientists, academics, students and professionals of the industrial sector to participate in the UANL INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON NATURAL PRODUCTS. The Symposium will be held in Monterrey (Mexico) at the Main Library (“Raúl Rangel Frías”, www.dgb.uanl.mx/burrf.php) of the University from September 7th to 8th, 2006.

The symposium will focus on the structure elucidation and synthesis of natural products as well as on their biological function and medicinal aspects. The symposium will include 10 lectures held by scientists from Europe, United States and Mexico.

This meeting is an opportunity for academic and scientists from Mexico to exchange ideas and to establish collaborations for the development and research in natural products chemistry.

Languages for the lectures will be English and Spanish (with slides in English).
